HOPE Neighborhood Roasters

H.O.P.E. (Hutton Opportunities for Professional Exploration) Neighborhood Roasters is a professional, student-led coffee roasting production established at the Hutton Settlement Children's Home in Spokane, WA.

The HOPE Neighborhood Roasters project will serve three purposes within Hutton's learning framework:

  1. Career & technical education (CTE) for Hutton Setttlement youth (retail & marketing, supply chain management, business entrepreneurship) with educational credit opportunities.
  2. Global awareness through country-of-orgin studies and cultural communication with coffee farmers worldwide within the Cafe Femenino Cooperatives.
  3. Sustainable funding provided for all Hutton education programs.

When you choose HOPE Neighborhood Roasters, you become a vital part of Hutton Settlement's mission of providing hope, opportunity and life to children in need.

Coffee Subscription

Introducing a new way to support Hutton!

1. SIGN UP FOR YOUR SIX-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION

Select your subscription level - either whole of half. Sign-ups are taking place for subscription cycle that runs July through December 2022.  

 

2. RECEIVE OR PICK UP YOUR MONTHLY SUPPLY

Pick up at Hutton Settlement every other week or prepare for bi-monthly shipping if that's more convenient.
 

3. ENJOY WHILE SUPPORTING HUTTON'S PROGRAMS

Your subscription directly supports student entrepreneurship, job creation, cultural education, and the sustainability of Hutton's education programs.

Subscription Details: 

What You Get: Four (4) or two (2) 12 oz. packages of freshly roasted coffee beans each month. This will be distributed every other week to ensure you have the freshest product possible.
 
Cost: Donation of $350 (full) or $175 (half). Subscribers will be responsible for paying the full cost to ensure that all spots have been filled. Please also consider your distribution option (details below) and whether you’ll need to include extra fees to your payment. If you're worried about not using all your coffee, we're offering an opportunity to continue the full subscription but donate a bag every two weeks to one of our partner charities (ie. Millwood Impact, local food banks, Blessings Under the Bridge, etc). 
 
Distribution: Subscribers will have the choice of picking up their coffee every other week from the Hutton Settlement (details/schedule will be shared following sign-up) OR pre-paying for a shipping option. If you choose shipping, you will be responsible for paying an additional fee of $18/month ($108 total) to cover shipping for the full subscription.

Please be sure to include that your donation is to be applied to coffee subscription within the description.   • Come visit at two local farmer's markets to purchase individual bags of freashly roasted coffee!
    • Millwood Farmer's Market: Wednesdays from 3-7PM, Millwood Park 
    • Spokane Valley Farmer's Market: Fridays from 4-8PM, CenterPlace Event Center (Spokane Valley)
