Houseparents are the backbone of Hutton’s model. Houseparents live in our large cottage family homes with approximately eight-ten youth, either boys or girls, providing around-the-clock care. Houseparents face a variety of challenges on a daily basis as many of the children they care for have experienced trauma throughout their lives. Houseparents must have patience, compassion and perseverance when times are challenging. To learn more about how special this role is within our organization, please visit the Careers Page.

Board of Trustees

The Hutton Settlement is governed by a Board of Trustees with the objective to improve the lives of children by instilling strong values, providing superior education, support and opportunity for success.
