This summer, we will be teaming up with a local university to study the benefits of exercise for the children’s health. Monday through Thursday, the entire campus gathers at 9am to participate in one of three hour-long fitness options. The three groups include team games (soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, etc.), a run/walk group and yoga. At the end of the hour, the group gathers back together to do a 10 minute breathing exercise.
Today’s walk was down to the river on the centennial trail, where some of the kids were showing us their rock-skipping skills!
We also have Activity Time from 1-4pm on campus, which includes swimming in the pool
